Polynesian Power

I had an opportunity to watch Jeremy Spear and Robert Pennington's Polynesian Power again last night at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. It was interesting to see the film in a theatre and without commercials. I originally watched the broadcast premier of the film at the All Star Cafe Pro Bowl Week 2005. The setting was better to view and hear the film. It was particularly interesting to see where the 2 main subjects in the film, Pisa Tinoisamoa and Isa'ako Sopoaga came from and where they are today. Tinoisamoa will be entering his 4th year in the NFL with the St Louis Rams where he is now a team captain and has led the team in tackles for three straight years. Sopoaga also had a strong first season in the NFL. His primary job is to plug the holes as a Nose Tackle. I had the opportunity to see him play this past October against the Bucaneers and see the 49ers get a rare win.
