Daniel Lavatai LB, 6'1, 220, Sr (Leuzinger HS, Lawndale, CA): Had 8 tackles and 2 sacks in a 28-7 loss to Highland. Lavatai finished the season with 80 tackles and 16 sacks.

Havelock Pomele RB, 5'10, 200, Jr (Milpitas HS, CA): Rushed for 157 yards on 25 carries helping Milpitas defeate Woodside 12-6. Sophomore linebacker Steven Fanua (6'1, 200) had 13 tackles for the game and 5 sacks to bring this season total to 198 total tackles and 11 sacks. San Mateo DJ

Chris Sautia RB, 6'1, 225, Sr (Arlington HS, Riverside, CA): Twice on Arlington's 14-play, 74-yard drive, the Lions faced fourth down, and twice Chris Sautia converted. Sautia, who finished with 152 yards on 19 carries, scored on a 2-yard run with 44 seconds left. Of the fourth downs, Sautia said, "Three yards may not seem like much, but on fourth down, in front of this crowd, it's a big deal." HSI






Thomas Su'a RB, 6'0, 205, Sr (St Joseph HS, Santa Maria, CA): Sua (pictured left) rushed for 162 yards and had 2 rushing TDs and a 26 yard TD reception in leading his team to a 35-8 win over Torrance.

Jack Sula RB, 5'11, 185, Jr (Carson HS, CA): Had 179 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and caught an 8-yard touchdown pass to pace the offense in a 39-6 win over San Fernando. Sula also had a sack for loss of 9 yards. "It doesn't matter who we play," Sula said. "See, we feel nobody can match up with us man-for-man. If we play our game, we'll be all right." Sula has 1544 yards this season and has 16 TD runs and has 4 TD receptions for the year.

Lincoln Togiai LB, 6'1, 250, Sr (Elk Grove HS, CA): Returned a fumble 46 yards for a touchdown in leading his team over Folsom 54-10. Togiai also had 9 tackles in the win and has 97 tackles for the season.

Uelese has 177 total tackles this season and 17 sacks. Tuiavi'i has 195 tackles and 18 sacks for the year.
