Hawai'i HS Football Roundup: Nov 10-11

Kama Bailey RB, 5'7, Jr (Damien HS, Honolulu, HI): Rushed for 154 yards and 3 TDs on 28 carries in a 33-19 loss to 'Iolani. Honolulu SB

Martin Iosefo WR, Sr (Leilehua HS, Wahiawa, HI): Caught 10 passes for 125 yards and 1 TD in a 23-21 loss to Leilehua. Honolulu SB

Junior Mata'afa RB, 5'10, 195, Jr (Kahuku HS, HI): Rushed for the games only score on a 25 yard TD run in a 7-0 win over Wai'anae to win the OIA Title and a first round bye in the Hawai'i State Championship. Mata'afa had 71 yards rushing on 7 carries alongside backfield mate Lehi Aumua who had 51 yards on 14 carries in the defensive struggle.

Bryant Moniz QB, 6'0, 180, Sr (Leilehua HS, Wahiawa, HI): Completed 22 of 29 passes for 270 yards and 3 TDs in a 23-21 loss to Mililani. Honolulu SB

Tiave Oto DB, 5'10, 160, Sr (Kahuku HS, HI): Intercepted 2 passes against Wai'anae in the OIA Championship game.

Gabe Tuata RB, 5'7, 170, Sr (Kealakehe HS, Kailua-Kona, HI): University of Hawaii-bound Tuata led the way with 178 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries for the Waveriders (12-0) who earned the BIIF's sole playoff spot, beating Keaau (7-5) in the championship game for the second straight year.
