Six Polynesians to play in the Max Emfinger All American Bowl

The following Polynesians have been invited to Max Emfinger's 2007 All American Bowl Game Classic in Shreveport, Louisiana on January 5, 2007. Five of the athletes are from the State of Hawai'i and one from Utah.


Kalani Aldrich DE, 6'7, 238, 2007, Kamehameha Schools-Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI): Plays for Head Coach Ulima Afoa on the Big Island campus. Recently verballed to play football at the University of Washington. Was selected all league (BIIF) first team for both offensive line and defensive line.

Famika Anae OL, 6'6, 270, 2007, Timpview HS (Provo, UT): Helped lead his high school to the Utah 4A State Championship. The son of BYU offensive coordinator Robert Anae. Anae was a 4A 2nd Team All State selection by the Salt Lake Tribune and Desert News.

Elisha Fa'asu MLB, 6'0, 235, 2007, Farrington HS (Honolulu, HI): One of three teammates from his high school to be selected for the all star game.

Sam Fehoko DE, 6'2, 220, 2007, Farrington HS (Honolulu, HI): The son of University of Hawaii mascot "Vili the Warrior" and younger brother of San Diego State offensive lineman Whitley Fehoko. Fehoko was recently selected first team all league and also played in the HUB Senior Bowl. According to Rivals.com Fehoko has offers from Hawai'i, Arizona, Oklahoma, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah, and TCU.

Sione Tau T, 6'6, 284, 2007, Damien HS (Honolulu, HI): Has verbally committed to the University of Arizona after being recruited by Mike Tuiasosopo. Will join high school teammate Lolomana Mikaele at the Tucson campus next fall.

Manusokai Tonga T, 6'3, 330, 2007, Farrington HS (Honolulu, HI): Was named the MVP of the East squad for the HUB Senior Bowl and was an honorable mention all league selection.
