AIGA Foundation sends equipment to American Samoa

The youth of American Samoa will be receiving fitness equipment courtesy of The Lords Gym. Mr. Phillip M. Meadows, CEO of The Lords Gym, contacted The AIGA Foundation and its President, Mr. George P. Malauulu, on making arrangements to pick up and send the equipment to the Territory.

One of Phillip’s contacts made him aware of The AIGA Foundation’s (www.theaigafoundation.org) contribution for the youth on the West Coast and the South Pacific. Phillip advised George that American Samoa and a group in Mexico would receive equipment to assist in the development of the youth. The Lords Gym donated a number of specialized strength machines, weight benches, and weight plates. George solicited the assistance of Starkist Samoa and General Manager Mr. Brett Butler to transport the weight equipment to American Samoa.
The AIGA Foundation continues to find ways to assist our youth in training, empowerment, and education. We look forward to what the equipment will do for the youth on island. Thanks again to the Lords Gym and Starkist Samoa for teaming up to benefit the youth of American Samoa.
