Pacifica High School's Masi Tuitama verbals to BYU

Masi Tuitama a 2007 graduate from Pacifica HS (Oxnard, CA) has verballed to BYU. He will count toward's BYU's 2008 recruiting class and will likely be a greyshirt. Tuitama was selected First Team All Ventura County and First Team All League (Pacific View). Please visit YAC Sports for more information on Ventura County area players.

Masi Tuitama receives 2 scholarship offers


YAC's Masi Tuitama 6-2 210 lb linebacker / running back out of Pacifica High School in Oxnard has received 2 official scholarship offers from the University of Hawaii and the BYU Cougars. Both teams went to bowl games and are members of the WAC and Mtn West conf.

Masi stated it has always been a dream to play college football and the opportunity to play for two top teams like Hawaii and BYU is very exciting. He is doing well academically and is looking to finish the school year on a high note. Masi will be the 1st official football player from Pacifica High School in its history to receive a D-I scholarship. Masi will be making his decision over the next couple of weeks prior to graduation. Congratulations to Masi, Tiloi and family..
