There are currently two Polynesians playing in the Canadian Football League, Timmy Chang
with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Brandon Ala with the British Columbia Lions. Chang has passed for 259 yards this year as a back up, with a 1 touchdown and 58.3 quarterback rating. Anthony Arceneaux is also on the Tiger-Cats practice squad. Ala is on the practice squad along with Chad Mock from the University of Hawai'i.
