Passing game suits Riordan

(11-17) 19:51 PST -- The matchups were starting to seem a bit monotonous to Riordan High quarterback Darius Bell: one West Catholic Athletic League run-oriented, ball-control offense after another.

Saturday's game against Terra Nova-Pacifica was more his speed.

Bell threw for a school-record 367 yards and the top-seeded Crusaders racked up 603 yards of offense, defeating eighth-seeded Terra Nova 44-16 in the first round of the Central Coast Section-Medium School Division at City College of San Francisco.
