2007 Sacramento Bee All Metro Teams

A collection of Samoans and Tongans have been named to the Sacramento Bee's 2007 All-Metro All Star Team.

Viliami Finau, Colin Lyons-Pena, John Tupou and Isi Vei were selected to the First Team.

Defensive back: Viliami Finau, Burbank, Sr.
Versatile and ballistic as a hitter, Finau was also a leader for a Titans team that won its first outright Metro League championship in 40 years.

Offensive Line: Colin Lyons-Pena, Del Campo, Sr.Big, strong and mobile, he helped the Cougars rush for 3,876 yards and 37 TDs, leading the way for Carey Johnson and Toby Gobern.

Offensive Line: John Tupou, Elk Grove, Sr.
Massive at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, he helped the Herd rush for 3,788 yards and 56 TDs; three-year starter.

Offensive Line: Isi Vei, Grant, Sr.
Three-year starter was top lineman for a Pacers team that made the playoffs for 16th consecutive season; paved the way for Marselius Williams and Melvin Murphy.

Solomone Kafu (OL, Rio Linda), Sione Moala (DL Grant), and Freddie Ve'evalu (DL, Burbank) were selected to the Second Team.

Siaosi Heleta (LB, Burbank) and Maika Maumau (DL, Franklin, Elk Grove) were selected Honorable Mention.
