Stephen Paea to Oregon State

Corvallis – Brent McNeil of El Camino Community College in California and Stephen Paea (Paw-A-uh) of Snow College in Utah have signed national letters of intent to play football at Oregon State University, head coach Mike Riley announced Friday.

Paea is a 6-2, 295-pound defensive tackle prospect. He has three years of eligibility remaining following a redshirt season in 2006. The native of the Tonga Islands helped the Badgers to an undefeated regular season before the team lost in the Top of the Mountains National Championship game. Paea attended Timpview High School in Provo, Utah, where he was an all-region selection. He also was a prep standout in the shot put.
