Taimi Tutogi may not have a position just yet, but he has a home.
Tutogi, a defensive end/fullback/H-back from Chula Vista, Calif., verbally committed on Friday to be an Arizona Wildcat.
The 6-foot-1-inch, 242-pounder said he's open to playing anywhere on the field. UA assistant Jeff Hammerschmidt originally recruited Tutogi as a defensive end. After watching tape, the coach decided he could also be a good fit at H-back.
Tutogi rushed 95 times for 490 yards as a senior at Chula Vista High School. His 65 tackles were second on the team.
The Rivals.com recruiting service has yet to rate him.
"Whatever position gets me on the field early enough, that's where I want to play," Tutogi said.
