Leilehua senior quarterback Andrew Manley was named Gatorade Hawai'i Football Player of the Year, ESPN Rise magazine, in conjuction with Gatorade, announced yesterday in a press release.
Manley completed 245 of 402 passes for 3,108 yards and 27 touchdowns against 11 interceptions in helping the O'ahu Interscholastic Association West champion Mules reach the semifinals of the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA Division I state tournament.
Manley was The Advertiser's All-State Offensive Co-Player of the Year in 2008.
