Section Sports: All San Diego Section

First Team
LB Jeremiah Kose, Vista Jr.

Jeremiah overshadowed his older brother, who also plays linebacker for the Panthers, by leading one of the top defenses in San Diego in tackles.

OL Thomas Molesi, Oceanside Sr.
Molesi can play anywhere on the line, and his best position is probably along the defensive line. But Molesi was dominant this season for the undefeated Pirates, and he has the tools to play offensive guard at the next level.

DL Thomas Molesi, Oceanside Sr.

Molesi was the anchor of the Pirates' defense, which surrendered fewer than 100 points this season.

DE Ian Seau, La Costa Canyon Jr.
Seau, the nephew of NFL-star Junior, was a rock on the end of the Mavericks line, defending both the run and pass extremely well.

Second Team

LB Jake Fely, Oceanside Sr.
Fely easily could have been a first-teamer, as the Pirates' defense was very good. Fely's leadership had the defense ready to play early, when Oceanside was breaking in a new quarterback.

DT Kenneth Galea'i, Oceanside Sr.
Galae'i's is short for a defensive tackle (6-foot-1) but he's a load up front for any offensive tackle, as his 280 pound frame will attest.

DE Joita Te'i, El Camino Sr.
El Camino had a miserable year. Te'i sure didn't.
