The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran free agent linebacker Freddy Keiaho to a contract. Keiaho spent the past four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. Length and terms of the contract are undisclosed.
Keiaho, 5-11, 226, was originally a third-round draft pick of the Colts in 2006. He has played in 55 games with 27 starts and totaled 250 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception. He has seen significant action on special teams and has 29 career tackles. In 2009 he appeared in all 16 games with two starts, and finished with 26 tackles as a reserve linebacker and 14 special teams tackles.
In 2008, Keiaho has the most productive season of his career as he made a career-high 114 tackles in 14 starts. He has played in nine postseason games with two starts and was a member of the 2006 Super Bowl champion team.
