Ronny Camacho, Brian Fifita, and William Leaupepe were named First Team Defense by the Ventura County Star. Fifita and Camacho will play in the AIGA Foundation Polynesian All-American Classic in Los Angeles January 15th.

Ronny Camacho Oaks Christian, Utility
The quick, studious and dependable cog in the middle of the Lions defense, the 5-foot-8, 195-pound middle linebacker piled up 200 tackles — 129 solo — as a senior, including 21 against Agoura, 19 against Westlake and 17 against Royal. Also had three sacks and two forced fumbles. The Hawaii native also is a sprinter for the track team. He watches “Family Guy,” roots for the Baltimore Ravens and enjoys listening to “Fiji” and reading.

Brian Fifita Oaks Christian, Defensive back
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound safety could be counted on both in pass coverage and as a run stopper. Finished his senior year with 110 tackles, five interceptions and three sacks. Returned interceptions for TDs against Newbury Park and Simi Valley and had a game-changing pick against Moorpark. Enjoys sitting quietly and writing poetry. He likes Chinese food, lists “Gladiator” as his favorite movie and roots for the San Francisco 49ers.

William Leaupepe Camarillo, Defensive line
The 5-foot-9, 200-pound defensive end was the Pacific View League tri-champion’s immovable fire hydrant inside, piling up 127 tackles, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles as a senior. Enjoys camping and going to the beach, bowling and playing rugby. Watches “Everybody Hates Chris” and lists “The Blind Side” as his favorite movie. He roots for the Steelers and their star safety, Troy Polamalu.
