Top 25 high school football players to watch in the East Bay


Kaniela Kahuanui
Encinal, RB/LB, Sr.
Kahuanui was a force at LB for the NCS runner-up last year and has moved from the offensive line to serve as Encinal's lead running back this year.


Haniteli Lousi
Washington, OL/DL, Sr.
Lousi will be the leader in the trenches for the Huskies, who should continue to receive Division I looks, with most of the interest being on the OL.


Freddie Tagaloa
Salesian, OL/DL, Sr.
The 6-8, 310-pound left tackle has had collegiate offers since his freshman year. Tagaloa has narrowed his choices to Cal, Stanford, USC and Oregon.

Tavita Taito
Deer Valley, OL/DL, Sr.
A standout on both lines, Taito is receiving heavy collegiate interest as he wraps up a tremendously successful varsity career.

Siliveinusi Tomasi
Fremont, OL/DL, Sr.
Tomasi is a fourth-year varsity starter who has helped his team to the Silver Bowl three straight years. He's been an OAL All-City pick each season.

Fe'ao Vunipola
Pittsburg, RB/LB, Sr.
Vunipola clocked a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash this summer, and will be a leader on both sides of the ball this year for the Pirates.
