Pac-12 Football Awards

Freshman Offensive Player of the Year - Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon: Mariota, a redshirt freshman from Honolulu, Hawaii, has completed 218 of 312 passes for 2,511 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. The first-year signal caller, who tossed for a school-record-tying six touchdowns against California, owns the Pac-12 freshman record for touchdown passes (30) in a season and has thrown five touchdown passes per interception in 2012. The Conference’s most efficient passer, Mariota has compiled a 165.36 quarterback rating that ranks fifth in the FBS.
