According to CalHiSports Mark Tennis
TOP 10 TIGHT ENDS
1. Tyler Luatua (La Mirada) 6-4, 230
An easy choice to be at the top of the state’s tight ends list, Tyler is
considered by just about every national recruiting site as the top
tight end prospect in the state and one of the best in the nation. He
holds offers from over 30 schools, including Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio
State and USC. He already has been invited and will participate in the
Under Armour All-American Game at the end of the season.
TOP 5 FULLBACKS
3. Limihai Hifo (Heritage, Menifee) 6-0, 225
Back in March, this FB/MLB committed to San Jose State while turning
down offers from Nevada and New Mexico. A broken foot cut his season
short last season, but he still rushed for 448 yards and six touchdowns.
In preparation for this season, he also was named BYU camp MVP for
linebackers back in June.
Note: Limihai Hifo’s teammate at Heritage, Sione
Takitaki, was listed previously among the linebackers. We could see him
ending up as a fullback someday, too. Hifo and Takitaki also are
cousins.
