Polynesians signed to NFL Practice Squads

With NFL teams cutting their rosters down to 53 over the weekend a number of Polynesian football players were cut. However over the next week some of these teams will be signing the players to their practice squads.

The Cincinnati Bengals have resigned rookies Matt Toeaina and Dane Uperesa to their practice squads. In addition, the Cleveland Browns resigned Uperesa's college teammate Melila Purcell. Cal graduates Marvin Philip and Nu'u Tafisi have been assigned to the Pittsburgh and Seattle practice squads. Former Pac-10 Offensive lineman Kili Lefotu (Washington Redskins) and Enoka Lucas (Tampa Bay Bucaneers) have made their team's practice squads.
