Serra scores last to down Bellarmine

Serra High fullback Tiuke Tuipulotu scored on a 4-yard run with 11 seconds remaining, capping a wild fourth quarter that involved three lead changes in the final 1:30, as the host Padres knocked off previously unbeaten Bellarmine 24-20 on Saturday.

Playing at 70 percent, according to head coach Patrick Walsh, Tuipulotu finished with 48 yards on 10 carries. Jackson led the Padres with 83 yards and senior Tyler Tuiasosopo added 77, filling in for ailing fullback Jared Braun.

"Even after they scored the last touchdown, I knew the game wasn't over," said Tuipulotu, who received an offer to play at Idaho earlier in the week.
