Sekona and Pomele commit to Kansas State

Wednesday was a big day for K-State linebacker coach Matt Wallerstedt who landed two big-time junior college linebackers in Ulla Pomele and Hansen Sekona, according to Rivals.com.

The 6-1 235-pound Pomele is considered one of the best prospects out of California and the No. 37 overall player among all junior college players.

From Santa Rosa Junior College, Pomele chose the Cats over Fresno State, Washington State and San Diego State and will enroll for the spring semester according to Rivals.com.

Sekona, out of College of San Mateo, is a 6-0 230-pound prospect that chose the Cats over Nevada, Marshall, New Mexico and Washington State. He too is expected to be on campus in time for the spring semester.
