LB Press Telegram Dream Team

Carson running back Jack Sula and offensive linemen Matt Hunt were named to the Long Beach Press Telegram's Dream Team along with Norwalk offensive lineman Uaita Emosi and Mayfair linebacker Ruben Willis.

UAITA EMOSI

6-3, 365, Sr., OL, Norwalk
Emosi brought respectability back to a Lancers program that qualified for the playoffs after a long drought. Emosi has a 4.0 GPA that has Harvard recruiters drooling. Was selected as the Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year and is being recruited by Utah State and San Diego State.

MATT HUNT

6-3, 304, Sr., OL, Carson
Opened huge holes for Sula all season long and at the end of it was named the L.A. City Section Offensive Lineman of the Year. Right now, he's taking recruiting trips to Fresno State, Arizona, Arizona State and Washington State.

JACK SULA

6-0, 205, Sr., RB, Carson
Was named the Marine League Player of the Year for the second straight season after rushing for 1,896 yards and scoring 30 touchdowns. A tough runner who can run between the tackles or bounce it outside, Sula is being recruited by Utah.

RUBEN WILLIS

5-11, 225, Sr., LB, Mayfair
Without question the best linebacker in the Suburban League this year, Willis walked away with Defensive Back of the Year honors. He averaged 10 tackles a game, finishing with 92 on the season, and added two fumble recoveries for good measure.

Dream Team: Second Team
David Sausau, 6-0, 175, Sr., LB, Carson
Marine League Defensive Player of the Year after finishing with an outrageous 178 tackles.
