AIGA Foundation Camp - Grossmont College (San Diego) - March 14, 2009

March 14th, 2009
Grossmont College, San Diego (CA)

Class of 2010
Carlsbad's Michael Taele (SS,RB/5'10", 195), Los Alamitos' Niusuamalie Sale (OL/6'4", 290), Oceanside's Sam Niu (LB/6'1", 190), and Mission Hill's Leo Romero (6', 150) were some of the standout participants at the camp. Michael Taele who was a member of Team AIGA at the Scout.com/Badger Sports 7on7 championship team in Las Vegas (two weeks ago) displayed a top performance at the camp. Niusuamalie Sale showed why he will anchor the Griffin's offensive line next fall. His size and mobility will definitely draw all DI schools.

Class of 2011
Helix's Sam Meredith (DL/6'5", 230) displayed why he will be one of the top defensive prospects in the country. As Stanford has offered an early commitment so will everyone across the country. This lean and agile prospect proved to be the top defensive linemen in the camp.
Vista's Jeremiah Kose (LB/6'2", 200) and Carson Justin Alo (QB/6'1", 170) were also members of Team AIGA at the Scout.com/Badger Sports event. Jeremiah's anticipation and quickness during the 1-on-1's gave the opposing receivers and backs a difficult time. Justin proved he will be a force to deal with in the Marine league. His pocket footwork, time efficiency, and ball placement were his best qualities at the camp.

Past AIGA Participants were in attendance to assist the up and coming prospects.
Jake Tauanuu LB (San Diego State)
Levine Toilolo TE (Stanford)
Anthony Anderson DE (Oregon)
