HONOLULU - Elvis Kamana-Matagi of King Kekaulike High School has been chosen for the Hawaii team for tonight's Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl at Aloha Stadium.
Kamana-Matagi, a 6-foot-1, 244-pound senior defensive lineman, joins Maui High defensive back Elika Laloulu on the roster of 30 football players from Hawaii and 10 from the Mainland with Hawaii ties announced last month. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m., and will follow the Hawaii Goodwill Senior Bowl, which is reserved for Oahu players. Both games will be shown on pay-per-view on OC-16.
Kamana-Matagi has written scholarship offers from Utah State and Nevada-Las Vegas.
