Jan. 12, 2010

The Sporting News is reporting that former Husky defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim has been invited to participate in the annual NFL Scouting Combine Feb. 24-March 2 in Indianapolis.

Executives, coaches and scouts from all 32 teams attend the Combine to evaluate the nation's top college football players ahead of the NFL Draft in April. It includes drills, interviews, physicals and more.

Te'o-Nesheim, from Waikoloa, Hawai'i, finished his UW career as the school's all-time leader in quarterback sacks, with 30. He started all 49 games of his Husky career.

Te'o-Nesheim will participate in the East-West Shrine Game in Orlando on Jan. 23.
