Mitchell Kamaiopili DL, 6'4, 250, Jr (Lincoln HS, Stockton, CA): With 1:06 in the first half, Kamaiopili returned an interception 9 yards for a score, stretching the Trojans' lead to 24-0 over Franklin (Stockton, CA).
Stockton Record
Brian Maile QB, 6'1, 175, Sr (San Mateo HS, CA): Maile was impressive to say the least, completing 14-of-23 passes for 220 yards against a relentless Woodside defense. Agile and elusive, Maile frustrated Wildcat players countless times with his athleticism, eluding oncoming pass rushers with the skill of a matador. On one play in the third, Maile ran around for a good 10 seconds, spinning, juking and leaving defenders in his wake before throwing an incomplete pass. Maile had five completions of 25 yards or more, but it was the Bearcats’ inability in the red zone that cost them dearly.

Jack Sula RB, 6'0, 183, Jr (Carson HS, CA): In Jack Sula, Christensen has inherited one of the City's best running backs. Coming into the game, Sula was averaging just over 173 all-purpose yards per game to go along with eight touchdowns this season. On Saturday, the 6-foot, 183-pound junior tailback ran the ball 19 times for 245 yards and three touchdowns, topping his 221-yard, two-touchdown performance in last week's win at Bishop Amat.
"I keep giving it up to the offensive line," Sula said. "They work all week. They pounded it for me today." "He's special," Christensen said. "That's what he does. He's probably the best running back I've ever coached." Sula scored twice on back-to-back possessions in the second quarter, pushing the Colts ahead, 19-0, with 9:40 to play before halftime. "We can go all the way to the Coliseum," Sula said. "We just have to cut down on mistakes."
