Oregon Polynesian Post-Season All Star Selections

A number of Oregon Polynesians were recently selected to All State and All League teams in their respective areas. As the Hawaiian, Samoan, Tongan, and even Micronesian population grows there will likely be more Islanders to keep an eye out for.

All State Selections
Bronz Kaae DL 5'10, 205, Sr (Ashland HS)
Selected 5A All State Honorable Mention. Also selected All League (Southern Sky) First Team on both offensive and defensive line.

Karl Pututau DL 6'1, 245, Sr (Tigard HS)
First Team All State Selection (6A) and was also selected All League (Pacific) Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All League. Pututau was also selected 1st Team All League as a junior.

Andrew Seumalo DL/OL Sr (Santiam Christian HS, Corvallis)
Selected First Team All State (3A) and also State Lineman of the Year. Seumalo is the son of Oregon State Defensive Line Coach Joe Seumalo.

All League Selections
Zach Ka'ahanui DL 5'11, 245, So (Central Catholic HS, Portland)
The sophomore was a first team All Mount Hood Selection.
Tala Mika Moody DL, 6'0, 260, Sr (Mazama HS, Klamath Falls)
First Team All Southern Sky League
Aisea Poulivaati DL, 5'11, 200, Sr (Cleveland HS, Portland)
First Team All Portland Interscholastic League (5A)
